 It is just a place for me to start surfing the web and to play around with new web technologies. This is a home served web site running on very low end equipment over a VDSL internet connection.

Most of the set up was done for free with old computer parts and a copy of Windows Home Server. The web sight design was handled with Visual Web Developer 2007 Express Edition Microsoft’s free asp.net development application.

Along with serving my web page I also run a mail server off this box. Hmailserver is a free windows based mail server which is easy to set up and maintain.
